Book of the week

In the spirit of developing your all round knowledge and building mental models to serve you well in your investment process, this week’s book recommendation is
Economics: The User’s Guide, by Ha-Joon Chang.

It was written back in 2014 so some of the figures and stats aren’t up to date. Nevertheless, it is a great introduction to the subject and well worth at least a flip through.

Article of the week

So it turns out that chat GPT isn’t just for writing bad love poems and drafting emails to folks you don’t like much. In this week’s article recommendation I learned that investors are using it too. But are they aware of the risks?
